The Poetry of Photography é um blog interessante , mantido em parceria por duas amigas, poeta e fotógrafa.

O resultado é uma viagem ao país profundo, com o Texas como pólo magnético. As imagens a preto e branco e os textos depurados e incisivos, fazem o resto.

Two friends, two creative souls, one collaboration.

Poet, memoirist, and novelist Laurie Wagner Buyer Jameson spent over thirty years living in the backwoods and working on remote ranches in the Rocky Mountain West. Her work has won several awards. She currently lives in Llano, Texas.

Melinda Green Harvey, a photographer, wanders every day, taking photographs as she goes. Her love of the Plains and of architecture is apparent in her images.

And here, poetry and photography come together.

“Perhaps someday I will figure out what it is I want to be when I grow up.

But until then, I spend part of my time working at a real job, as a grants writer at a private non-profit agency, and the rest of my time writing, photographing, and generally challenging myself to be better at both.”
